Well, I've had a pretty busy time for me this semester—which is probably clear, given the fact that I've been posting so little lately. Still, I wanted to put up some of the photos I've been taking recently. 

First of all, here are some more shots from my trip to Japan in January. Soon after I got back, I posted some photos from Tokyo. Here are some shots from Osaka and Kyoto:

After the workshop ended, a number of us took an excursion to Kyoto. This shot of the Golden Pavilion is pretty similar to the one I posted among my Japan shots from two years ago, but what the hell. 

Since I'd already done an organized excursion in Kyoto in 2007, once my return visit to the Golden Pavilion was finished I decided to rent a bike and ride around town for a few hours. Here is an evening shot of a street in Kyoto.
